I’m artist and cartoonist based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. A keen observer and documenter, I draw inspiration from the thousands of photos collected in my phone’s camera roll.

Focussing on moments that are amusing or strange or beautiful in their familiarity and ordinariness, I paint and illustrate the world around me with fluid lines and vivid colour.

Each new artwork adds to an ever-evolving visual narrative of daily life – in Auckland and beyond.

I’ve been a cartoonist for the New Zealand Listener since 2015. My graphic novel Episodes was released by Earth’s End Publishing in 2024.

I think a lot about time, memory and how we make sense of the world. My work is part of this thought process.
